Widefield

A higher than average income and lower than average home price has made Widefield a more and more desirable place to live over the last decade. New home builders such as Classic Homes, New Generation Homes and Aspen Homes have completed several planned communities which include desirable features such as parks with play equipment, sports fields, community centers and pools. Because of the short commute time to Fort Carson and Cheyenne Mountain, Widefield has a large number of military families. It also has a slightly lower elevation than Colorado Springs, making for milder winters and warmer summers.
